On May 18th at 9PM PT, Ripley will perform a live narrative improv show online, with the theme of “YA Dystopia,” a genre we have workshopped, performed, and taught since 2016. Based on audience suggestion, Ripley will create a completely original YA dystopia story through improv for the live online event.

We received an Encore Award and a nomination for “Best Ensemble” at the 2017 Hollywood Fringe Festival for our run of improvised YA Dystopia shows. No two shows are alike— there are no scripts, no set characters, and no plans. We dive into the genre wholeheartedly.
