As a DJ how do you like to make a party really fun?

Playing the right song at the right time and feeling the energy of the crowd. You gotta read the room behind the 1s and 2s. I pride myself in giving the people what they want but also turning them in to new music. I remember Djing a wedding back in Austin. The dance floor was at peak party. Everybody was getting down. Then the Texan father of the bride came up to me and asked if I could play some “dance music.” He meant he wanted to two step to George Strait. So transitioned the uptempo into Amarillo By Mornin and all the parents took over the dance floor. Everyone’s groove is different.

Any ideas what dance music you'll play for the alien theme? All sorts of dope sci fi and space themed soundtracks out there that bump! Vangelis! John Carpenter! Neu! Even some Strauss, and Holst and other classical music of the spheres type stuff.

But more importantly I’d love to have a jam sesh with Alex and Arlo who have been been scoring the Encounter shows.

What are you looking forward to most with the event? My costume.
